  • Johan E. Mebius created an MS-DOS version of the Macintosh program Dissonance Grading by Jos Kunst. Detailed description and download are available on the page with computer programs.
  • The last composed work by Jos Kunst has been published by Donemus: the étude "...pour l'allant". This is opus XXVIII no. 1, the only finished movement of the Six études à la memoire de Claude Debussy (1995-1996). The List of compositions has been updated accordingly.
  • The short piece for flute solo Notus (1962) has been published by Donemus. The List of compositions has been updated accordingly.
• On April 14, 1998 the piece Khepera by Jan Vriend was played for the first time in De IJsbreker in Amsterdam. Khepera, for alto flute and alto clarinet, is dedicated to the memory of Jos Kunst. The performers were Harrie Starreveld (flute) and Harry Sparnaaij (clarinet). In the Dutch version of these pages there is an excerpt (in Dutch) from the review by Paul Janssen in the daily newspaper Het Parool.

  Abstract. Some observations on music by K.R. Popper, found in his autobiography, are discussed, specifically in relation to his world 3 concept. It is argued that the intuitions embodied in the idea that there is, in fact, an objective world of 'the products of the human mind' (sciences, arts, institutions and the like) are of interest to researchers in the field of music. Firstly, they put current research into a new and fruitful perspective, and secondly, they open up new research perspectives as well.
